I found this place in the hotel registry book in the room where I staying while here on business. It stood out and and after checking out their web site, it has a nice contemporary progressive feel. While is says baptist here, it didn't feel like most baptist churches I have have been to in the past. I don't know this church's past, but perhaps it was one of those churches that gets "born again" and updates its model for the current generation. i liked it's slogan; "a perfect church for people who aren't". It seemed real and not just a shtick.
The people were nice and friendly and the Spirit of God seemed to be evident. both of the pastors I talked to were very nice and approachable. I had some pleasant discussions with them and one even offered to get together for lunch if I had time while I was here in town. The message was relevant and it hit home on a couple of points. Godly advice; what it is and is not and how to recognize it. the campus is new and has any open layout as is the sanctuary. It is all very inviting. I went to the 9am service and it was a smaller group w/ an intimate feel during the worship. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and go if I lived here.Added March 03, 2017 by David Swab
